Call for Fellowship Application
The Steering Committee of “National School on Internet Governance and Digital Rights” is calling for an application to participate in a fully-funded National School on Internet Governance & Digital Rights.
The two day training program aims to enhance the capacity of various stakeholder groups in Nepal to build Internet Governance leaders by equipping trainees with knowledge and skills to participate effectively in national, regional and global Internet governance processes. By focusing on the intersection of Internet governance and digital rights, This School on Internet Governance seeks to cultivate a new generation of leaders who can navigate and influence the evolving digital landscape.
Key Dates
- Application Period: 28 October - 8 November, 2024
- Result Announcement: 10 November 2024
Evaluation Criteria Priorities
- Applicants must be 18-45 years old at the time of application.
- Applicants are expected to be able to communicate in basic English as we are aiming to foster global leaders.
- Anybody working or aspiring to work on Internet governance or digital rights.
Engagement Requirements of Fellows
- Selected candidates are required to complete Internet Society’s course on digital accessibility prior to in-person training. Learning @ Internet Society empowers professionals with the knowledge you need to apply new skills, advance in your careers, and become Internet champions.
- Selected candidates are required to submit a report post-training. The report may be in written, audio, or video format.

- Free online access to the Internet Society Course
- Transportation and accommodation for eligible fellows outside Kathmandu
